Our onsite polishing facilities include
– | Any requirement for hand polishing on high Quality components can be undertaken. |
– | Brushed Stainless Steel effects can be imitated using sateen and Scotchbrite Mops. |
– | We linish only when preparing product for powder Coating and for Split Line removal |
– | We can undertake the Linishing and Polishing of Tubes up to 2.4m in length. |
– | Various degrees of finish from dull to mirror finish can be achieved. Also used for deburring. |
– | We can produce very fine linishing and polishing on flat plates using in house equipment. |
It is general practise for high quality products to be highly polished prior to plating.
Powder Coating
Top
A full range of powder coating facilities is available for both functional and cosmetic applications. Powder can be applied in Epoxy, Epoxy-Polyester & Polyester in standard and anti-microbial / anti-bacterial finishes. Our Plant is capable of powder coating up to 2m in length and runs both manual and fully automated systems allowing for both high and low volume product in any RAL, BS or PANTONE finishes.
Barrel Electro plating
Top
Our Electro plated services extend to offer the following barrel plated finishes over 2 fully automated plants with the latest in Computer controlled Artificial Intelligence with a capacity of approx 10 Tonnes per day over a 24 hour period. Please see below list for all available finishes.
Alkaline Zinc with Clear/Blue, Black and Yellow Passivates with PS100 Sealant. All our passivates are trivalent and RoHs Compliant. Our Full Enhanced trivalent passivate with PS100 seal has exceptional corrosion resistance exceeding 500hrs on neutral salt spray to first red corrosion.

Refurbishment & Stripping
Top
We have extensive onsite stripping facilities that cater for all material substrates. We can strip to base all electroplated finishes including PVD (Physical Vapour Deposition). Our expertise in metal finishing has allowed us to take pre-plated material and refurbish to as ‘New’ condition. Our particular strengths within this field are fully utilised by the Brewery Equipment remanufacturing industry, Together we provide solutions by bringing previously sub-standard damaged units ack into mainstream use.
Rack Electro Plating
Top
We are able to offer the following finishes in a rack plated process to maximum dimensions of 58” length x 36” deep x 12” wide. All our plating is processed by a team of trained individuals and the whole process is overlooked by our own in-house chemist. A basic overview is outlined below.
– | A bright reflective ‘bluish-white’ coating. High protective Qualities .Non RoHs Compliant. |
– | A bright reflective ‘brownish-white’ coating, a RoHs Compliant ~HEX Chrome Alternative. |
– | A Bright reflective Silver/yellow, often used as an undercoat for many alternative final coating. |
– | Dull non-reflective Silver/yellow finish used predominantly in engineering applications for protection. |
– | Used as an undercoat for Bright nickel for high Corrosion Resistance. Service Condition 4 applications. |
– | Applied on a nickel coating, used commonly for domestic sanitryware and conductivity purposes. |
– | Applied on a nickel coating, used commonly for domestic sanitryware and conductivity purposes. |
– | Dull or Bright in appearance, used as an overcoat to copper or nickel to aid in conductivity. |
– | A soft yellowish brown finish, also known as ‘Velous’ & ‘Pearl bright’. |
– | Soft Blue Finish achieved by HEX or TRI chrome plating over Satin nickel. |
– | A Soft Gold Finish achieved by Gold plating over Satin nickel. |
– | Reddish/Pink in appearance used as a base coat for steel and Zinc based substrates. |
– | Reddish/Pink in appearance, used to aid porous casting, excellent conductivity properties. |
– | A bright reflective ‘Milky’ blue finish, nickel based undercoat with HEX or TRI chrome topcoat. |
– | Bright Uniform coating providing excellent corrosion resistance qualities. Can be top coated. |
– | Brown in appearance, a ‘living breathing’ finish which ages with time and environment unless protected. |
– | Brassy Brown in appearance, achieved by brushing back bronze plated components. |
– | Stainless steel effect finish, achieved by brushing back nickel plated components. |
These finishes’s can be processed to Service Condition 2, 3, & 4 Specifications.

Electrophoretic Coating
Top
We provide clear electrophoretic lacquer coatings with post dye treatments if required over base material and pre-plated components. This particular type of coating is most commonly applied as a top coat providing a tough surface layer protection which conforms closely to the contours of the work piece. Most commonly used within the architectural hardware industry post dye treatments can give very close resemblance to brass and gold finish’s at a fraction of the cost.
